And then, it just rushes through disconnected quests, each of which was promising on its own, but not properly fleshed out, and all ending abruptly, with an Elf Nazi controlling a Magic Nuke, and now you're the Archmage. As with the Companion questline, they managed to do a good job of finessing the question of how much you know before joining the guild - in this case, they're not so much a school as a community of scholars, but let's see how much you know, eh? There was a nicely scripted series of interactive events with a coherent narrative flow, up through discovering the Eye. I really felt like the College of Winterhold questline had a great start. If I were a betting man, I would say it's gibberish inspired by stuff a texture artist thought up. There is another symbol, that due to what looks like it being caligraphic almost, could either be a 'lower case' Omega or a Psy, both Greek. It's essentially Omega with a dot in the center. One of the more common symbols looks like a cross between a Greek Omega, and the symbol for Oblivion, or the Deadric 'O'. Normally in TES, the symbols have a pretty solid match, this thing has some stuff that looks close, but not close enough. But, I looked at the glyphs, and cross referenced some of the more common symbols to an updated language library posted by Lady N, Im assuming she has some sway around these parts. Well, it's constantly moving so unless you play on PC, that would be difficult.

My main interest sparked when I noticed someone asked why the glyphs on the Eye hadn't been looked at. I found this forum, thought it rocked and signed up. I wondered what the Eye really was, since I knew in the quests it wasn't defined, at all. I'm an avid TES fan, and happened upon my fifth or so play through of the College quest line.
